Frequently Asked Questions
1
How do I get ready for a house call?
Please have your pet in a quiet, well-lit room where they feel safe. Gather any medical records, current medications, and a list of your questions or concerns. If your pet is nervous, you can have their favorite treats, toys, or blanket ready to help them feel more comfortable during the visit.
2
How much do house calls cost?
House call fees include a travel/house call fee plus the cost of the exam and any additional services (such as vaccines, lab work, or medications). There is a $50 house call fee within the counties listed on our website, and a $75 house call fee for the surrounding areas. If you are outside those areas or aren’t sure if we can come to you, please reach out—there may be an additional travel fee depending on your location.
3
When are you available to visit?
Appointments are generally available on weekdays during daytime and early evening hours. Availability may vary by week, so the best way to see current openings is to contact us directly. If you have a time preference, let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate it.
4
How long does an appointment take?
Most appointments last about 45–60 minutes, depending on travel time, your pet’s needs and how many concerns we’re addressing. First visits or more complex cases may take a bit longer so we can go at your pet’s pace and keep the experience as low-stress as possible.
5
How can I pay?
We accept credit/debit card, check, and CareCredit. Payment is due at the time of service. If you have pet insurance, we’re happy to provide an itemized invoice you can submit for reimbursement.
6
Are you accepting new clients?
Yes, we are currently accepting new clients in our service area. If you’re a new pet parent with us, you can start by reaching out through our contact form or booking options so we can confirm your location and find a time that works for you and your pet.
